FAILSAFE is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), one of the most prominent Institutions of Health Science and Technology in Latin America, based in Brazil.
For the 2025 Round 2 funding call, applicants had the option to collaborate with a Fiocruz researcher on their project. For selected projects, Fiocruz provided additional financial support of up to £40,000, in addition to the FAILSAFE seedcorn funding of up to £75,000. This presented an exciting opportunity for applicant teams to enhance their available funding while also benefiting from the expertise and skills of members of this prestigious institution.
Fiocruz members can be found in our FAILSAFE Medical Mycology members directory, and for project enquiries or collaboration opportunities, please contact Marcio Rodrigues at marcio.rodrigues@fiocruz.br.
Projects were evaluated in accordance with FAILSAFE guidelines and will undergo the same review and scoring process and were equally ranked against all other applications.
