8 December 2025Professor Marcio Rodrigues Encourages CMM-FAILSAFE Members to Publish Mycological Research in mBio
Professor Marcio Rodrigues, Senior Editor (Mycology) at mBio, is inviting members of the CMM-FAILSAFE network to consider mBio as a venue for publishing their mycological research. In a recent statement, Professor Rodrigues emphasized the journal’s commitment to advancing the field: “Our Mycology community continues to produce remarkable advances, and mBio is committed to providing a rigorous and respected platform for impactful science.”
All submissions to mBio undergo full external peer review, with editorial decisions based solely on scientific quality, rigor, and novelty. The journal is particularly interested in studies that push the boundaries of fungal biology, pathogenesis, host–pathogen interactions, and related areas.
For more information on scope, formatting, and submission procedures, visit the mBio journal website: https://journals.asm.org/journal/mbio.
If you have questions about the suitability of your work, the submission process, or any other aspect, Professor Rodrigues welcomes direct contact at marcio.rodrigues@fiocruz.br. He looks forward to supporting authors and further strengthening the visibility of high-quality mycology research.
