We are delighted to see such a fantastic lineup of experts from the FAILSAFE initiative who joined the BBC World Service to discuss the critical question, “Can we stop killer fungi?” The session featured Professor Adilia Warris, Director at the University of Exeter MRC Centre for Medical Mycology and a leading expert in paediatric infectious diseases; Professor Rita Oladele, a distinguished FAILSAFE panel member and renowned fungal researcher at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos; and Professor Mike Bromley, a FAILSAFE awardee from the University of Manchester, whose innovative work contributes significantly to our understanding of fungal threats. Together, their expertise provided deep insight into the challenges posed by killer fungi and the cutting-edge strategies being developed to address them.  A MUST LISTEN!
