FAILSAFE Round 2 Funding – Timelines and Important Dates
Welcome to the funding application timelines page for Round 2 of the FAILSAFE grants. Below, you’ll find all the key dates and milestones to guide your application process.
Key Dates for Round 2 Applications
- Expression of Interest Deadline (Mid to Large Projects: £75,000–£250,000):
- Deadline: 14th March 2025
- Notification to progress to application for successful EOI: 28th March 2025
- Full Application Deadline (All Projects): 21st April 2025
- Notification of Application Outcomes Expected By: 30th June 2025
- Funding Available From: August 2025
- Project Start Date: 1 September 2025
Application Process
- Expression of Interest (EOI):
For mid to large projects, submitting an EOI is the first step. This stage helps ensure that proposals align with FAILSAFE’s funding priorities and allows feedback before the full application.
- Full Application:
All tiers of funding (Seedcorn, Mid to Large Projects) require a full application submission by the final deadline of 21 April 2025.
- Outcome Notification:
Applicants will receive updates on the outcome of their submissions by 30 June 2025.
